Our AGM takes place on Monday 13th December 2021 at 7.30pm in the Clubhouse.
The meeting is open to all adult members to attend, so come along, support your volunteer Committee and see what is happening at your club.

As advertised our Presentation Scramble takes place on Saturday 2nd October. This is open to Ladies and Gents members who can also can bring a non member along for the day if they wish . A sheet is up in the clubhouse hallway for people to add their names to, if however you can’t make it up to the clubhouse, please feel free to pass your name onto Captain Janice Whiteford, Steve Ervine or Mark Gillie and they will add it for you.
Teams will be drawn and published with starting holes on Friday 1st October. It will be a shotgun start from 14.00.
After the close of play there will be a buffet before the presentation of trophies which will commence from 18.00.

If you can’t make the golf, please feel free to still come up and support the winners of the season.

Captain’s Outing

This year we are heading to Gifford Golf Club for the annual Captains outing. Cost for this is £55 which includes coffee and bacon roll on arrival, 18 holes of golf, followed by soup and sandwiches. Also included in the cost is transport, sweep money for prizes and some light refreshments of your choosing. If you are interested in supporting the Club Captain Janice on the outing please give your name and money for the day to Mark Gillie (Sooty) on 07947 628280 by Sunday 1st of August so we can give Gifford numbers for tee times and food, as well as getting the transport organised.

The Greenkeeper’s Revenge returns !
Our Charity Day is back this year and is going to be held in aid SAMH, Scotland’s national mental health charity. The event will be on Saturday 24th July 2021 and is a Texas Scramble format over 9 holes. Teams can made up of Ladies, Gents and Juniors and you don’t have to have an official playing handicap.

It’s all just a bit of fun with a twist and is open to members and non-members.
Tee times are available from 9.30am to 2.30pm.

Competitions

Our first Gents competition was held last Saturday 3rd April 2021 with the Captain’s Gathering, an 18 hole Stableford Competition. Those that played enjoyed a warm sunny day although the new 2nd green was not playable due to a covering of frost overnight. The result sheet can be found here.
